About Bennetts Services

Bennetts Services is a family-owned home services company that has looked after Brisbane homes for more than 30 years. It covers two very different jobs under one roof: carpet, tile and upholstery cleaning, and pest and termite control. With more than 200 Google reviews, the business already had the reputation. The website needed to catch up with it.

The brief

The old site made it hard to see everything Bennetts offers, and its suburb pages were not pulling their weight in local search. Working through an agency partner, I was asked to redesign the whole WordPress website, bring the suburb landing pages up to standard and add blog content that answers the questions Brisbane homeowners actually search for.

What I did

• Full website redesign. A new homepage and page layouts that put both service lines side by side, so a visitor looking for carpet cleaning also discovers pest control, and the other way round.
• Quote form above the fold. The hero pairs a clear headline with a short quote form (service, phone, email, name, message), so booking takes seconds.
• Deals and bundles. Offers such as termite inspections, the moving-out special and the termite barrier deal get their own section, which supports the company's "book combined services and save" message.
• Suburb landing page audit. I reviewed every suburb page, fixed thin or inconsistent content and moved them onto a consistent, conversion-focused layout.
• Supporting blog content. Published articles such as how often pest control should be done in Brisbane, giving the service pages helpful content to link to.

Why it matters for a local service business

Most Bennetts customers find the company by searching for a service plus their suburb. Strong suburb pages, a clear service structure and genuinely useful articles give Google more reasons to show the site for those searches. Once visitors land, trust signals like 30 years in business, a service guarantee and Google reviews, together with an easy quote form, help turn that visit into a booking.
