Possum Rid

About Possum Rid

Possum Rid has removed possums humanely for Sydney residents for around 20 years. Alongside possum removal, it handles feral birds and rat control, often in hard-to-reach roofs and wall cavities, with a focus on fast, humane solutions.

The brief

Possum Rid's local pages were where many customers first landed, but the template behind them was not doing its job: calls to action were weak and there was no easy way to enquire. Working through an agency partner, I was asked to fix the template and add a page that shows clearly where the service operates.

What I did

• Fixed the local-page template. Reworked the layout used by every suburb page so it now opens with a clear headline, a prominent call button and the key reasons to choose Possum Rid: pensioner discounts, experience and humane removal.
• Enquiry form on every page. Added a short enquiry form beside the hero, so visitors who would rather not call can still get in touch straight away.
• Clear calls to action. Placed call and enquiry prompts throughout the page, not only at the top.
• Areas We Serve page. Designed a page that lists the Sydney suburbs covered and links each local page.

Why it matters

Someone hearing scratching in their roof at night wants help quickly. Because the fix was made to the template, every local page improved at once, giving each visitor a clear way to call or enquire. The Areas We Serve page reassures them that Possum Rid covers their suburb and strengthens the site's local SEO structure.
