About TaloTalo
TaloTalo.com is a real estate marketplace for finding properties for sale, for rent or for investment, including homes, rentals and commercial listings. It serves property seekers, owners and agents, with featured listings in cities such as Amsterdam.
The brief
A marketplace lives or dies by how quickly people can find the right property. TaloTalo needed a modern, friendly platform with search at its centre, attractive listings, accounts for users and agents, and content that brings visitors back.
What I built
- Search at the centre. An illustrated hero with a single search bar ("Search by address, postcode, or city") and For sale, For rent and Sold tabs, so every visit starts with the property hunt.
- Featured properties. Photo-led listing cards that make browsing feel inviting.
- User accounts. Log in and sign up flows, so users can come back to their search and agents can manage their presence.
- "For agents" area. A dedicated entry point for real estate professionals.
- Insights and newsletter. Featured posts on topics like location, rental income and market cycles, plus a weekly newsletter sign-up to build a returning audience.
- Built with Next.js. Fast, SEO-friendly pages for an image-heavy site.

Why it works
The clean, illustrated design makes a serious purchase feel approachable, and putting search front and centre gets users to listings in one step. Content and the newsletter give people a reason to return between searches, which matters in a market where decisions take weeks or months.
